Every year, World Malaria Day reminds us that malaria — a preventable and treatable disease — continues to affect millions. This year, PSN-Young Pharmacists Group (YPG) Lagos, in partnership with Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd and PANS UNILAG, took a bold step forward by transforming awareness into meaningful action.

On April 25th, 2025, the Ago community came alive at Footprints Pharmacy, where we held an outreach that delivered real impact. Together, we not only educated the community but provided essential health services to those who needed it most.

Our Impact in Numbers

Behind these numbers are powerful stories — stories of parents learning how to better protect their families, elderly residents gaining new hope through early diagnosis, and young pharmacists stepping up to serve their community with compassion and professionalism.

Collaboration That Made a Difference

This outreach would not have been possible without the dedication and generosity of our partners:

We also owe heartfelt gratitude to the young pharmacists across Lagos who brought their energy, skills, and heart to make this day a success.

Building a Malaria-Free Future

At PSN-YPG Lagos, we believe that health interventions should be more than one-off events; they should spark lasting change. By combining education, diagnosis, treatment, and empowerment, we are contributing to a future where malaria is no longer a threat in our communities.

This World Malaria Day was a reminder that when we come together — government, private sector, academia, and the health community — we can truly make a difference.

Here’s to more milestones ahead, and a future where no one fears malaria again. 🌍💚
