On Friday, June 13th, 2025, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria – Young Pharmacists Group (PSN-YPG) Lagos Chapter held a successful Blood Donation Drive at Evercare Hospital, Lekki, in commemoration of World Blood Donor Day.
The initiative brought together 11 selfless volunteers, all committed to the life-saving cause of donating blood to meet critical health needs in our communities. Each pint of blood collected has the potential to save multiple lives — and we are proud to have played our part in strengthening emergency care and maternal health systems across Lagos.
This drive reflects PSN-YPG Lagos’ unwavering commitment to promoting public health, fostering a culture of volunteerism among young pharmacists, and making meaningful impact through collaborative community action.
