In July 2024, PSN-YPG Lagos launched the PAD-A-GIRL Project at Eric Moore College, impacting over 100 secondary school girls. This initiative was designed to improve menstrual hygiene education, address common misconceptions, and break the stigma surrounding menstruation.
During the session, students received comprehensive education on menstrual health, equipping them with accurate knowledge to manage their periods confidently. The event also provided a safe space for discussions, allowing the girls to ask questions and challenge harmful myths that often lead to shame or misinformation. To support their well-being, each student received free sanitary pads, ensuring access to essential hygiene products.

A heartfelt thank you to Amiga Pads for their generous support in making the PAD-A-GIRL Project possible, providing young girls with access to quality menstrual hygiene products and education. By fostering awareness and empowerment, the PAD-A-GIRL Project reaffirmed our commitment to public health advocacy and the overall well-being of young girls. We look forward to expanding this initiative and reaching even more communities in the future.
